		<description>You CANNOT legally drive the car until you get it registered in your name.  If this was a private party sale I hope for your sake that the seller gave you a CLEAR title when you bought the car. That means the car was registered in the sellers name giving them the right to sell it, and that there are no liens against the car.  Without a CLEAR title you probably will never be able to register the car. In California a bill of sale has very little weight with the DMV. They will want a CLEAR title.</description>
